Last Wednesday evening Blue Hors Don Romantic has passed away. The 14-year old Danish bred stallion suffered a colic due to a volvulus and was euthanized.
In 2010 Blue Hors Don Romantic (by Don Schufro) was named Elite stallion Stallion of the Year for the Danish Warmblood Studbook. Blue Hors Don Romantic is the sire of 15 approved sons inside and outside Denmark. As many as seven offspring were qualified for the young horse world championships in Herning (Germany) this year.
