During the Dutch international show Jumping Indoor Maastricht a try-out has taken place: Knock-Out dressage. Two riders at the same time ride a dressage test of two minutes with 15 exercises. The best qualifies for the final. At JIM four riders competed in this test and the victory was for Dutch Laurens van Lieren with Ulysses La Haya.
The concept was invented by Dutch chef d'équipe Wim Ernes and sport director Frank Kemperman. Ernes: 'this won't be the formula for big championships...
